A Question Of Hope In Sim History

Post by The Harlequins »

Hi all could i ask this question.

Has a yearling claimer of yours ever gone on to rise up the ladder , and even become a good breeder.

I ask out of interest and the possibility

Yes, Satono Moon was a claimer as a yearling and turned to ‘Stakes’ at 2. Went on to win 3 Geade 1’s, placed 2nd in the Arc and Dubai Turf Classic, and has sired multiple Grade 1 winners, a couple of freaks and plenty of stakes horses!

From the same family, You Should Be Here went from claimer to freak week 9 at 2yo and went on to be a multiple Grade 1 winner and a blue hen mare.

I hope that’s what you meant, unless you meant claimers that didn’t change gallop but went on to be decent?

A Harp for Hannah galloped productive/wings, couldn't win as a 2 YO, finally breaking her maiden in a $32k claimer as a 3 YO, went on to win the F&M dirt mile the same year. Pretty big leap, from maiden claimer to SC champion.
Windborn turf router $20000; Nite Skyturf router $18000; Black Tears turf router $5,000; Dream Goodnite turf router $5000; Accend turf router $5000; Independence Hall dirt miler $40000
