Re: Gallop Improver's
I regalloped my training barn, unraced 2YOs and 3YOs. Had a crazy amount of improvers. I only kept track of those that improved to Stakes or Freak and any that jumped 2 comments.
I had 5 that went from Claimer to Productive and 2 that went from Solid to Allowance.
I had 1 Stakes Galloper jump to Freak and that was an Arabian Router named Panda Watch.

Re: Gallop Improver's
I've found a few 1 up improvers! That's nice.
Also had a 3 yo filly downgrade from allowance to productive... ("You have misunderstood it all!" I told her. She gave me a quick glance, yawned and went on chewing her hay...)
Next year I'm sure it will be my turn to get a claimer to stakes, since I have so many of them..!

Re: Gallop Improver's
Given how little time and effort I spend on breeding TBs, I was really pleased yesterday to see that I now have 7 Dee-bred TB freaks in my racing barn. But this morning I had a really sombering thought -- the Lauras, Skippy, Pete, Danny, etc. probably now have dozens of home bred TB freaks in their racing barns.

Re: Gallop Improver's
I am glad to see that players show one or several changes of gallops that helps me to keep my hope of seeing also in my stable
of 3 2-year-old mares I expected to change 2 from allowance to Stakes and 1 Stakes to Freak they are still the same gallop
Now I can only think that one of those who will always be pampered in my stable today is a Freak
She was an allowance last year and she was still special then she switched to Stakes.
I just hope she continues to grow and become a dazzling runner
There are three things I love about her, her color, how she likes to run up front, and when she can come with a 2-length lead, and she hears her enemies approach her speed increases a little more the last time she surprised me with 88SF on a track. fast since she loves the mud
and although it remains a Stakes every time it goes out to compete, it creates that feeling of anxiety, anguish and fright of how it will
there will always be something, someone who will not allow your hope to die

Re: Gallop Improver's
Almost all my TB freaks have been Steward-breds, so it was particularly gratifying to have a 2yo homebred turf route filly go from stakes to freak. I name all my foals at birth, so I guess she got a good one.
I miss Admire Daio so much. He was a needed boost to multiple divisions of my barn.

Re: Gallop Improver's
I think I still have a few to regallop as I can fit it into their racing schedules, but I had 5 allowance go up to stakes and a solid to productive so far. Happy with that. No changes among the yearlings, but looking at the ones that did improve I will be keeping a closer eye on the 'late bloomers'.
"I was afraid of Gigi, it was true." Oh yes. Be afraid. Be very afraid...

Before the Steward added the possible improvement comments that maturity might bring, I wonder how many potential champions were trashed
