I saw the warning about foul language and that Tim would be guest hosting ...

2 + 2 doesn't always = 4 ... My apologies, Tim

This week on The Morning Line, Nini and Mara preview the Chimborazo while feeling guilty about neglecting the other 24 G1 thoroughbred races that week. But alas, the richest turf sprint race in the SIM is upon us, so it's time for it to take the spotlight as the shiniest star in the game this week! We review all the horses, make our picks as usual, and of course, bully each other gently.

"Live longshot" I'll take it :) I'll be thrilled if Mahler could finish in the top 5

Thanks for another great podcast (also really enjoyed the one with Danny and Tim!), doing a great job!

I was going to listen to the broadcast the morning of the race, and then go into chat to hear the races.

However... for the 3rd time in 2 months...

My internet company had 'technical issues' and my internet went off around 11:30 pm Thursday night...and it did not come back on until about a quarter past nine on Friday... yep.. almost 10 hours without internet. The other two outages... one was for 8 hours and another one was about 6 hours.

I am just crossing my fingers it doesn't happen again next Friday when the Arc is being run.

I got some wireless earphones to listen to your podcast while at work. Best recent investment I've made. Thanks so much for such great content, I'm actually learning some tips with each episode I listen to (Especially the Morning Line Mailbag episodes) . I did skip ahead to the last episode just because the Everest is of huge interest to me. PS I vote for more Nini singing

The Morning Line Episode 16 - A Deep Dive on the Arc De Triomphe

Post by Nini Panini »

This week on The Morning Line, we sit down to preview one of the SIM's most prestigious and history-rich races, the Arc. Nini shares a tale about an Arc from the SIM's past and wants to move to Canada; Mara claims she's edgy and complains about the weather. Tangents definitely happen. We don't go too far off topic though, and every single horse in this star-studded field gets a thorough breakdown before we make our picks.

See you next week! Or maybe not!

Thank you so much for all your comments so far. We're happy that you guys are continuing to enjoy the show. :)

Enjoyed the podcast as always! I really like when you give in depth opinions about each runner in the field but I know that would be hard to achieve when you’re talking about multiple races.

I think a break would be good before week 16 but if you had the time maybe it would be good to record a podcast about some of the SC races (I don’t know which ones you plan to preview) but like maybe record the AW previews? Or the Juvenile ones? I know there will be some late entries but it will save you some time when you go to record the big Friday ones as well.

Either way, I’ll be here to listen whatever you guys decide to do :) ❤️

Nice broadcast, I enjoyed listening to the preview.

I just hope the part about Ruffian not hitting the board is really wrong...lol.

With Drama, and Longbird, I think are going to be really tough to beat and there are a good number of them that can pull it off too. It's going to be an exciting race and I'm looking forward to it. : )

Thanks for the time you took to make the podcast.

Well ladies, you certainly voiced my own thoughts on Moulay, but I really think you need to watch Friends. It was pretty terrific!

I think Carole had a good suggestion about next week, but whatever you have time for is appreciated! Thanks for putting in your time ladies! Always enjoyable!
