Junior high
Is it just me or is it slim pickings at this place? Kinda feels like my local small town track at the fair grounds with a small casino next to it. Only has slot machines and betting but all the races are on tv in other states.

Re: Junior high
I was chatting with another junior player today. We must both have the wrong horses for the tracks races. Shot happens. I hit up the bookie out back in the sketchy joint around the corner. His name is also frank. Francisco, gruff Italian feller.

Came as a cold shower surprise to me too. I liked the cotton candy at Trial Park better. It was so fluffy!

Re: Junior high
I remember most of the Junior races being routes, more dirt than turf. I could be wrong though

Re: Junior high
I also felt the same.
It's not about it being not easier anymore but the amount of races is very less compared to trial park. Maybe it can have atleast all types of races for all age groups by dividing them in alternative weeks.

Re: Junior high
It seems a bit silly to have a track for Junior players if they're not going to get a reasonably full card of races.
If what Rochelle remembers is correct and it's mostly routes then put "Routes" or "Marathon" or something similar in the name so player have a clear understanding of what they're getting when they graduate.

Re: Junior high
Not sure if the Junior High races work the same as the rest of the SIM world, but in the rest of the world, my understanding is that races that go unfilled (or un-entered?) get automatically removed from the schedule for the next year. Maybe this is why it's extra light... a lack of participation in years past?
Also probably intended as a transitional track, so you can run a few horses in restricted company while sending your best to the wide world. Just a guess...
