No computer

Post by The Steward »

My computer is in the shop for 3-7 days.

I told them getting it back before Friday night is the biggest priority.

....... what do I do with myself now??

Sorry to hear your computer went kaput.
Hope they gave you the worst case scenario and you will actually get it back by Tuesday.

~There are these rectangular shaped things with words printed on paper that you can read...they are called novels. : D
~There are these boxes you can buy that have kind of thick paper pieces inside. Each piece has part of a photo on it...that you can view on the box top...500 pieces would kill some time...as you figure out which piece connects to another piece. :D
~There is another kind of rectangular box - that when you open it, these nice slick cards fall out of...52 of them! You can play alone, (called solitaire) or maybe if your kids are old enough to do simple math...play some Rummy with them :D Heck, they might even be able to pick up on Poker.
~You can buy these packages at a department store had already has colored thread in it, and some cloth and a color chart of the picture that is shown on the package... it's called 'Cross Stitch" - those are real time killers. :D
~there are also these boxes that contain board games....some think of them as 'bored games' though. You can play those with your kids...maybe teach them how to monopolize a game by knowing the value of Boardwalk, and Park Place, or perhaps the Risk one needs to take to overtake the world. ;)

Or you can go a little more new school...and sit in front the t.v. and zone out on movies for the next week. :P

If the Admin fixes Create-A-Mares the resulting Game Point sales would cover all the computers you could want :D.
