Did someone spike Hacklu's coffee?
Sunday morning 12am "This horse will be fine tomorrow"
Monday morning 12:10am "This horse will be fine tomorrow"
Which totally freaked me out because the horse is a lease and he's entered and he's a nice horse and I was really careful and yada yada except at
Sunday morning 12:20 am "Nothing going on with him, he isn't even tired"
So bottom line is I'm not sure whether the horse is tired or not, but I am pretty convinced Hacklu is on the sauce.

Probably hadn’t updated on tiredness though even if the horse is just out of tiredness I’m not convinced it’s fully recovered

Re: Did someone spike Hacklu's coffee?
He did say 'tomorrow'
Just not exactly what time 'tomorrow'
I'm not sure how it works, but rather than just being based upon 'at 1 second after midnight' it's 'tomorrow' -- the timing is based upon when that horse did something last...as far as afternoon or morning races.
So, if 2 horses equal in all ways, ran the same day, but one at 11 am, and the other at 9pm ....
When the day hits for them to be safe to race (which is what Dr. Hacklu's advice is suppose to tell you) and you checked the day before that and got the 'tomorrow' reply on both of them.
Perhaps the horse that raced at 11 am will show up as being recovered at 12:30 am, and the other might not show up as ready until 3 am. ???
I've never checked it out, but I have vetted horses before that got the 'tomorrow' comment 2 days in a row. I've never bothered to check again later on that 2nd day I vetted the horse. Could be later on in the day it would have vetted as ready to race.

I believe Emily has said that the SIM updates every 15 minutes at :15, :30, :45, and :00 every hour. This is when things like stallion pensioning, random injuries, etc happen. What I think happened here was that the horse crossed the threshold to be considered "rested" at 12:15, when the server updated again. I can't say with absolute certainty that's what happened, but that is my theory.

It's every half hour - we have a function that runs basically EVERYTHING that is literally called "Every Half Hour"Mara Jade Vess wrote: ↑3 years ago I believe Emily has said that the SIM updates every 15 minutes at :15, :30, :45, and :00 every hour. Luckily this year you’ll be warned and given the option to save them for an extra 3 days

Re: Did someone spike Hacklu's coffee?
Thanks everyone. Hopefully the horse takes a series of 30 min naps between now and 8pm. I have so many horses running tonight that are special "care abouts" so I'm all keyed up.

Won a Nw2 with a 12 horse field. On the way back to CA I heard him muttering something about "personal brand" and "shoe contract".Gwen Morse wrote: ↑3 years agoHow did she do, Kelly?Kelly L Haggerty wrote: ↑3 years ago So bottom line is I'm not sure whether the horse is tired or not, but I am pretty convinced Hacklu is on the sauce.
