I never post but shouldn't this happen for mares too. Their ability of blue hen, stars, and formidable should all be impacted. Ready to get my cull on. SS

My racing barn saw a two year old freak Best Revenge who was two for three with a 99 speed figure and his only loss coming in the stew cup were he was fourth drop to stake .

First world problems in my racing barn saw me go from 47 freaks to 8

Isnt it nice now you know which horses are gonna be special so when 39 of those fake freaks were gonna disappoint you now there just stakes and they won't be huge disappointments when they underperform.

I have never had freaks, so I don't know how that feels like.
But now I am certain I will never have a freak in my stables xD

And also sad that most of my promising (and good running) stakes went down to allowance...

I don't have many top gallop horses (1 freak standardbred) but one of my Stakes horses jumped TO freak. Does that now mean that she is a what should be a legitimate freak?

I love the gallop changes. I had 5 freaks and now I have 2 but at least I know who to run in the SC Races. It can be disappointing seeing the gallop drop but at least I won't be wasting my time finishing 13 and 14th and totally outclassed in the biggest races. Improvisational remains a freak so I can't complain. lol

One - Possessed - is the only Freak left in my barn- and he is up from Stakes. Time Takes Time is down to Stakes - but that could be age. The disappointing one is Star I See Tonight - my freak yearling was downgraded to Stakes. She has great 6 and 7f works, so likely on the upper end of Stakes

Yearlings: My freak stayed a freak (Phew!) but had 5 of 7 stakes became allowance (late bloomer or progressive).

Racers: I had 5 of 20 stakes become allowance and one three year old filly go from stakes to freak.
All 6 of my 6 freaks became stakes, four of them had just become freaks in year 56 week 9.

The biggest surprise was Wonderful Saint going from freak to stakes. He just won the SC Juvy. I'd be curious how the rest of the field in that race fared with their changes or lack of change. I'm a little less excited now about his TC chances.

Time will tell how all of this will play out.

My TB freaks are still freaks even with the new system. It was nice to get a confirmation on my youngest one.
I had a small handful stakes "downgrade" to allowance, which was all fair and square. They were never stakeshorses anyway.
