Foals You're Excited About - Year 57

Post by Danny Derby »

I spent a pretty penny insuring Let It Go to breed this colt by Mr. Wonderful. Fingers crossed he's worth it, but I can set my dreams and expectations as high as I want for the next 16 weeks. Sorcerers Apprentice

Which foals are everyone else excited about?

I've only bred one foal so far so nothing to phone home about, but I'm admittedly looking forward to see what the sister of the above linked foal will do in her barrier trial on 1.7.

First two foals from my monster mare Malarkey were nothing to shake a stick at (solid and claimer).
I am hoping that her newest arrival Kryptonite will shake that trend.

He's got an A+ name if nothing else.

You always want the last foal of a mare to be the best, so here’s hoping Unforgettable You is her best. The mare has already given me 3 freaks and is from a truly kick-a family, *fingers crossed*

This is only my second crop of foals and I got way too invested in expecting big things from last years group that didn’t pan out, but I’m hoping for big things from this one.

I've been visiting the older sires. I'm quite excited for two of the seven I've bred already.

No high hopes, maybe at least the 16 yr old Keefer will produce something fun with Reckless Decisions, https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1328697

Hoping for nice foal from A Mile Why, bred her to All of Time, https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1328664

Still in the Festivus doldrums, so not breeding anything yet. The wounds need to heal.

Luxuria gave me a freak this year in Quetzalcoatl; so here is hoping Hope Springs Eternal, her Fearless Spirit foal, follows in his hoof prints!

Kickstart My Heart also gave me a freak filly by Superbia (Star Crossed Lover) this year, and I'm hoping her colt by Fearless Spirit, Heart Shaped Box, is one too and is worth the 90k stud fee and name.
Superbia --> SC Winning Stud from the My Heart of Hearts dynasty --> 40,000 fee
Quetzalcoatl --> G1 winner, Son of SC winner Luxuria, 20,000 fee
Filled With Pride --> G1 winner, Son of SC winner Superbia, 20,000 fee

I bred Sweet Sinsation early to Storm, and have this foal: https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1326590.
I hope she will be another good one!

P.S. Sweet Sinsation lived at the age of 16! So one more shot next year!

This is the mares last horse and she has produced 3 Freaks and Longbird is my favorite Sim horse. so it just has to happen!

I put Thor and Dr Jones earlier, mainly because of the name, but this is really the one I have the most hope for at this point.
