Being English ,i have often wondered if Sloppy is more testing than muddy for a horse.
IF so, if a likes mud comment may not mean it also likes sloppy.

I believe sloppy is more of an off surface than muddy.
As for the weather preferences comment I’ve always taken the likes versus loves as how big of a boost they get rather than how off of a track they like.
