Can i ask a question ?

I noticed your horse got injured Laura ,on a day that it was not schooled trained or a workout.

Are life ending injuries just picked at random?

Random injuries can occur 2 times a year to any stable. If I remember correctly, they will always retire your horse. You can see how many random injuries you’ve had if you go to your ‘Notes’ page, at the top it tells you how many you have had out of 2.

The more horses you have, the more likely you are to be hit. I haven’t had random injury in a fair few years now.

Thank you Carole.

I knew this was coming for a season or 2, but my breeding has taken top priority over running the horses that have been gained since startup.

Am lucky to earn 200,000sims a wk this season and prob most of next season.

Have about 15 yearling horses that SHOULD be insured, and hopfully many more foals .

Another great thing about this game, as in real life .

All Stakes/Freaks, and foals that are out of Grade 1 winners/producers.

I'm going to be out of new player status soon, and I've realized that there's a few horses I'll definitely want to insure once I finish paying stud fees.

It's going to be funny once it gets to gallop time; on one hand, I'd love for my first foals to turn out well, but if they end up a little too nice, I'm really going to have to start writing articles for insurance money.

I now know foals are cheaper to insure after Nick pointed it out (bad research on my part)

Grade 1 winner producers are well worth it as foals.....thank you Carole

Normally I'd insure the best-bred ones as foals, especially since it's cheaper, but this one must have slipped through the cracks.
Once they gallop, I'll generally insure the stakes and (if I'm lucky) freaks... depending on division (I wouldn't bother with a DR stakes unless it worked lights out.)

Brand new players. I had one this year right as I changed to a junior.
