Congratulations
Creating this thread to congratulate Pete Vella on winning 13000 races and what a way to accomplish it, winning the Chimborazo Stakes with Ahtohallan.
What an amazing horse he is! Winning the Chimbo at 3 defeating horses like Talus, I am Inevitable and Silent Movie Hero. Looking forward to follow him.
Here to more 13000 wins for Pete Vella.

Re: Congratulations
Haha was that #13000? That's pretty cool. Nice win Pete! I didn't think the 3YOs were that much better than the best of the older crowd but maybe they just are!
Now... that was a pretty big effort for a SC prep... so perhaps the older dudes will be able to even the score w16
Also, I can't help but be proud to see another big win for the Deschutes female family!

Re: Congratulations
Yea I noticed that too!! What a way to complete a milestone win haha. Thanks all, still in disbelief that he won.
@Laura Smith
believe me I’m very scared of the SC. Had thoughts of ducking it, but not sure i could live with myself if I did.

Re: Congratulations
Congrats on the win : ) He has a lovely headshot too.... like the way his mane was done, like he's going full speed and the wind is whipping it about.
