~To get my racing stable size reduced.
At one point in the past it was over 375 racers. I worked several years and finally got it under 200...with the goal of maybe having between 125 to 150. I don't give horses away to AJ, nor do I sell them, or put them into claimers..so the only way to reduce stable size is to have more horses going out...retire/pension and fewer horses coming in have smaller foal crops, buy fewer outside horses. Last year though a friend asked me to take in some of her horses because she was bowing out of the game. I ended up with 175 of them. :P Many are already pensioned and retired, but a good number of them are pretty good earners...so I'll keep them racing and go for another small crop of foals again for the next few years. : )
I think though, that by the end of this up-coming year...I'll be under that 200 mark again.

~To get Roughian to earn that $70,500 and take over the #1 spot of all time earner for any mare in the Sim.

~Not so much a goal...but wishful thinking... I am hoping a few of my really nicely bred yearling claimer/late bloomers will turn into stakes or freaks as 2 year old. And..that I will have at least 2 really good hopefuls for the SC races next year : )

Well my goal for next year is... I don't know ^^''
I don't really make goals like this. But maybe one goal is to participate for the first time ever in the Pegasus with Crayon?
But... other goals would be to make better than this year, statistic wise xD

I would like to win a non-sponsored TB Dirt Route Grade One... I don't care which race, as long as it's a Grade One! I think with the stable I'll have next year, that will be possible!

Cheers!

30% win honestly. I want to be a better trainer by being more selective with my spots and making sure every horse is running at its best. It's a lofty goal but if you wanna be good you gotta aim high I guess.

Y57 goals were pretty much about just not going broke, so a big relief there. For Y58 I have a long list:

1) Develop a better system for deciding when to retire/cull claiming horses. Very willy-nilly at present.
2) Get better at reading young routers early. I've held some back that were probably ready for stakes races because my "eye" isn't developed.
3) Race my first homebreds/gallop my 2nd crop of foals, identify mistakes and learn from them.
4) Improve OTB % by 2 points
5) Stretch goal- this year I had 3 horses in the top 100 rankings (all geldings). It would be super cool to get an intact horse on that list, or if I can't manage that maybe get 5 geldings there next year.
