Re: Gallops
It will be great to be able to gallop at the turn of the year, I think that would make Fridays great Fridays, to celebrate until dawn, and continue celebrating all day Saturday

Re: Gallops
I had tomorrow afternoon all plotted out. A little picnic lunch, a nice lawn chair or blanket, the two furballs, and an iPad. It might be a little awkward to try all that at midnight Saturday.

Re: Gallops
I'm just grateful gallops no longer open on Monday. The pain of having to wait all weekend after rollover happened on Friday was real. I remember many a Monday morning waking up 15 minutes earlier so I could gallop all of my yearlings and cry before I had to get ready and commute to college

I love how Festivus is a mix of "oh my God I CAN'T WAIT" and "ah god damnit here we go again"

Re: Gallops
Good thing you asked! I have waited almost one whole season, almost the whole last week, not sure I can wait one more day! Can we please compromise and gallop when the foals are due in like 14 hours? No?

Re: Gallops
I think I'm the only one in the entire game who feels this way, but as someone whose earliest, longest and hardest work days are Saturdays and whose weekends involve Mondays, I so preferred doing my gallops with a hot cup of coffee and all the time in the world on my day off, as opposed to getting up at 3:45 on Saturday to blearily mass gallop everything and then stew about it all day at work when you don't work a 9-5, not many things fall conveniently into your schedule, but that was one of them!Rochelle Zahacy wrote: ↑3 years agoFacts!!!Lily Wilkins wrote: ↑3 years ago I'm just grateful gallops no longer open on Monday.
