I have loved being able to set claimer horse types... what do you love?

Post by Tammy Stawicki »

I've complained about my 2 big long lingering gripes within the last few days so I felt I should balance that with some appreciation for a gripe that was resolved. I have loved that I can now set some of my horses as "claimers" and only see those races. Has made entering much easier.

Also kudos to the powers that be that adjusted our new stewardbred rules based on the concerns about retired horses.

I often ask my students their thoughts on things I am doing in class and know it is impossible to make them all happy and I have nowhere near as many students as the sim has players so can't even begin to imagine how challenging it is to make us all happy, so thank you for all the effort that has gone into at least trying to accomplish that impossible goal. It is amazing how much this game has evolved and developed through the years.

Let's throw some other sim powers that be appreciation down here. What do you all love that's been changed through the years.

I love the Exchange! I'm real life poor, so sometimes it was hard for me to come up with $10 to $20 to get some Simperior weeks.

I also loved it when horses in the training barn could be mass trained... that saved so time! Prior to that each and every horse had to be done separately.

This new feature is awesome! I love that I don’t have to tire out fit horses to find out if they upgraded or degraded. :D

I love the exchange, being dirt poor in RL it's the only way I can get GPs. Also huge thanks to those that sell their GPs on the exchange

Mass galloping/gelding/retiring/selling/ect... Honestly don't know how we did it before that was a thing

Multi year leasing

Gallops opening Saturday morning, a present every single year cause I never remember that so I still expect it to be Monday morning, gosh remember when we'd have 1-2 weeks of nothingness between foals being due and races opening

Setting multiple distances/no claimer/claimer for the horse type

Equipment Checks, being able to have the EQ set option, the jockey telling you EQ, the trainer and vet telling you 2nd pieces

That every now and then as needed they adjust the scale for both gallops and BA comments

The "one small thing" thread so we can make suggestions

Delayed pensioning!!! Love, love, love that one

The foal limit system being how it is, much better than when foal limits first went into place

As the only person (to my knowledge) to have yet married someone they met at a SIM gathering, I wholeheartedly agree with this statement.

A bit related to what we are talking about, now that I have access to the internal building of PPs and pedigree pages in real life there's SO MUCH STUFF I'm like OMG WE SHOULD ADD THIS.

Can we have AEI/CI for stallions too??!!! (but like somehow based on gallop rating/mare rating, not earnings..)

My attempt to have a happy place for the powers that be to see how appreciated they are admist all the angst elsewhere seems to have become a third suggestion thread. There shall be so much crying. I tried...

2 minor changes that I find very helpful but most players probably never use:
1. Auction Bids / My Bids
2. Links to the new and original race when a race splits.

Thanks!
