Re: Gallops!
My cute ‘no potential’ mare threw another stakes galloper, so the world continues to make no sense and I continue to be pleasantly befuddled.

I just noticed something interesting. My freak is a colt but all 7 of my stakes are filliesEric Gray wrote: ↑3 years ago 125 foals
1 Freak, https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1328337. Philadelphia Eagle has been very good to me the last couple years.

Re: Gallops!
I bred 48 mares this year. I got:
2 Freaks: 1 progressive and the other a late bloomer (Tuck Everlasting and Malcontent)
4 Stakes: 1 peak, 3 progressive
14 Allowance: 1 peak, 4 progressive, 8 late bloomers
10 Productive: 2 peak, 5 progressive, 3 late bloomers
2 solids: 1 is progressive and 1 is late bloomer
16 claimers: 2 peak, 8 progressive, 6 late bloomers
1 Different Career... it's a late bloomer
----------------
I'm rather happy that only 5 are already peak, and the rest have a shot at improving.
I also received 2PMs this morning from a couple of players I did some free leases to. The first person got a Star mare, and his Stakes 2 year old filly upgraded to a Freak. The other person, got a Formidable mare and got their first turf route Stakes foal from her. Both mares were from my Foremost line...so I was pretty tickled to hear they did so well for those players.

Re: Gallops!
132 TBs
No freaks. Oh well.
14 stakes -- more than 10% -- pretty pleased with that.
Talus x4
SYM x2
Northern Avenger
Dirk Provin
Pinatubo
Salios
Saturnalia
Strong and Free
Time Test
Tragically Hip
https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1343085 and https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1343075 should be some fun multi-surface/distance things. So that's cool.
And some really good results for my sires thus far. Existing guys have increased their stakes %'s, and Talus is pretty excellent, apparently, so overall I'll take it!

LONG OVERDUE FARM: Keepin' it Canada since Year 16.
Stallions to meet your every need. As long as you need a turf sprinter.

Re: Gallops!
I usually stick to Mixers, but bought one from a Steward-bred auction for the first time and he galloped stakes.

Hope I don't mess him up haha.

Re: Gallops!
75 TB foals for me:
No Freaks
3 Stakes (Slickrock, Loveless, and Midnight Soprano - 2 are Late Bloomers, one progressive)
13 Allowances (8 of them are Late Bloomers, so hoping for some upgrades)
Of course some of my best mares, bred to the best stallions came out claimers and solids which is always disappointing lol

Re: Gallops!
115 foals, all TB this year.
1 stakes
19 allowance
23 productive
21 solid
41 claimers
10 DCs (This one is painful)
only 10 total were peak so most of my crop will improve
I started the season intending to spend money on breeding to better quality mares than last season, but then I couldn't afford the high auction prices throughout the season. I pivoted at the end of the season and rescued a lot of mares from Greener Pastures. So I ended up with lowish gallops, but honestly these are better than I was 'expecting'.

Re: Gallops!
Out of 73 yearlings (36 fillies, 37 colts)
Freak - 1 Dorian Gray
Stakes - 4 (by Lights Down, Light Up Light Up, Shadowkin and Shattering Hearts)
Allowance - 12
Productive - 15
Solid - 9
Claimer - 26
Different Career - 6 (5 chaser-bred, 1 sadly not)
Overall I'm thrilled I finally bred another freak. And many, many late bloomers so I have hopes some of the lower levels will improve.

Re: Gallops!
1 stakes-a turf miler filly by Under Stars who’s 2yo half sister is a freak.
2 allowance(1 DR, which is basically a claimer, the other is a turf sprinter)
11 productive
3 claimers
The others are different career and they are all steeplechasers so I won’t know until next year.
