Sponsored a CAN-bred 2YO TS stakes series

Post by Laura Smith »

I did this for awhile, then forgot for awhile, and now I have enough sires standing at my happy little Canadian farm that it's probably worth it to do again.

$75k stakes W6D1, $100k W9D1, and a $150k big finale W11D1. I'll do some kind of bonus for the leading series points earner. Money, mare, not sure yet. Someone might have to remind me but I'll do it one way or another.

Gonna try to do this again next year, when the Talus babies hit the track, and again going forward.

See you guys there!

I would like to possibly do this at some point assuming I have a couple of stallions worth the trouble, I went through the process some but I did not see where you can restrict the race to an area like TX or Canadian bred anywhere, what am I missing?

You have to create it at a track in that jurisdiction, then in the final step you can select if you want to restrict to state breds only.
