My Website Help Page is Disappearing

Post by Regina Moore »

As many of you know, for much of the ten plus real life years that I've played SIM, I've enjoyed keeping a website on my SIM stable of horses. This website included a page that had helpful SIM information, such as gallop comments. I've happily paid for the server space to maintain this website for all these years, but renewal is coming up soon and I don't wish to renew it this time around. I now use an in-house app to manage my SIM stable.

So, please pull off any information from the help page that you want to keep. For that matter, if anyone wants to re-post to their own web space, they're welcome to. Though some parts of it are probably outdated.

The server space is supposed to expire around May 10th. After that, you'll likely get an error message when you try to access the site.

When I was new I visited that site very often and it helped me a lot. Will be sad to see it go, but thank you so much for putting it up in the first place!

If you do want to keep it, try Freehostia. That's where I have parked my SIM site, including photos and still have tons of room to spare for free.

Regina's material is so valuable to newbies and veteran players. So I started to copy some of the material from Regina's website onto a generic webpage that I just made.

Thanks for the warning Regina,

these have been my go to reference during my first year here. As a total novice regards American racing, the website and articles have been invaluable to me !!
many thanks

I just did a copy and paste of the percentages....and saved those into my 'notes' That way, at least I can do the math if I want to figure out the payments for a particular purse.
