(ART) Indecently - The Most Unlikely G1 Winner
On friday night I was, to say the least, not very excited to check my day 5 results. Even less so to see how poor my winnings might be. This was due to the fact that I had, for the most part, forgotten to recheck my entries the night before to assure my horses were in the right sort of fields. To say I was surprised when I saw I had accumulated a decent check that night is an understatement; as I frantically scrolled back up to sort my results from best to worst. At the top was a horse I had not expected to see even placing. Indecently, a horse I had scooped up near the end of last season and had been trying to get rid of ever since, had actually won. As my eyes fell to the right and observed that he had picked up a $150,000 purse, I wondered if my eyes were deceiving me. But no, they were not. Somehow, my $1500 claimer had gone from placing 11th in his last start (a 15k claimer) had won a G1. He had given me my very first G1 victory. Completely flabbergasted, I checked over and over and over again before figuring out that this was reality and it had in fact happened. Out of all the horses I've been gifted or given to campaign, an unlikely horse I had loathed entering every few weeks had quickly jumped from utterly forgettable, to the forefront of discussion between me and anyone who would listen! So it felt only right that I set aside my sunday and took the time to draw this lovely horse.
So here he is, my wonderful gelding, Indecently.
Also check out this super cool article Nathan wrote about his victory! https://www.simhorseracing.com/featurer ... leID=17979

That was so cool to see, I hope it will be the first of many more G1s for you!
Also love seeing your art, the one you posted here is (in my opinion) the most beautiful so far, with Practical Magic a close second

I have to say that I would have given this horse zero chance, but now after this race, unless this horse somehow woke up and became a stakes or freak I would give this horse 0.1% chance to win another

I would like to say that Indecently only won because of cancel culture, all the other horses canceled their talent.. RNB Stables think this is the wrong thing to do, but like other great trainers, RNB enjoys talking in the 3rd stable trainer person. But yeah, cancel culture and strict communist regulations made this unlikely event happen. And RNB Stables knows this, because RNB is not the problem, RNB knows this and RNB thinks you should know this too.
