Re: Game Point Money Drain Ideas
Finding equipment is a drag, sure, but it's already easy enough if you have money for equiarmor and GPs to find the first piece. I'm strongly against adding in some other pay feature that would take what's left of the work out of a crucial part of the game.
It may not be a "skill" per se, but it requires knowledge, experience, good judgment and... time. Not that we need to purposefully have time sinks, but if you're going to breed 1000 yearlings and try to race even 500 of them, then it's reasonable that it should take you a proportionately ridiculous amount of time to deal with them. You made your bed, now sleep in it- go work those yearlings

The time part is really the thing. This the internet era..... unnecessary time sucks are just so 20th century. This is why like 4 people watch baseball nowadays.
It’s already possible to just go under the table give said game points to someone else to do all this for me. I’d rather just give the $ direct to La Stew tho and have it be all official and such...

I wonder if the galloping without actually galloping also gave equipment (at the same frequency of actual galloping) if that would increase how much people use it. Would give you a way to get a gallop piece by just throwing money at the problem like the vet piece but at the same time wouldn't really that fundamentally change game play
I personally just pay for the equiarmor and I'm guessing most of the richer players would but might be useful for someone that just wanted that piece for a couple of their top horses.

Yesssss this one! I would pay GP to allow me to schedule all my yearlings’ training for the year all at once!Xander Zone wrote: ↑2 years ago When it comes to working them I would pay some game points to be able to set up 10 weeks worth of works. It just 3 as I get my time in bunches I would sit down one day and spend the hours it would take to do it all at once

Re: Game Point Money Drain Ideas
Can we use the check ability function for gp during break?
I don’t see a downside. If gallops change after the last race day. After season report of a mare or colts performance, so like who wouldn’t pay money to help sway the decision to retire something before the new year. The game gets gp, the horses don’t get overworked and it seems like the most ideal time to use that function. There is some sense of realism here, getting a second opinion from your assistant trainer Mary whatsherface.

I just realized the Horse Talent button is under Train! So agreed, it would be great if that was moved so that we could use it during the break! PLEASE!Andrew Davidson wrote: ↑2 years ago Can we use the check ability function for gp during break?

If you click on the profile button you will see an assistant trainer/partnership button. If you want an assistant trainer once you have found one you would just add their name there and they will get access to your stable presumably to do their job.Kevin Hern wrote: ↑2 years agoHa! Re: Game Point Money Drain Ideas
From what I understand, the gallop changes occur at the opening of the new year. If the coding change is not too arduous, I think modifying the code so the gallop changes occur after the last race of the season would be a good way to generate GP usage. But I think the cost should be considerably more to assess performance during the break. For those who are always begging that gallops open early, they could pay these GPs to avoid waiting to actually gallop when the season open. Therefore, I think this would be a great way to generate GP usage if he coding change is not too arduous.Andrew Davidson wrote: ↑2 years ago Can we use the check ability function for gp during break?

If I remember correctly, we were told the change happens after final races. We found out when the gallops automatic changed during the adjustments year 56/57
