Upcoming Steward's Cup Broadcasts
I just want to clear up some confusion on the SC broadcasts as it's being done a little bit differently this year.
The broadcast is being done through Youtube's Premiere function. This behaves almost identically to a livestream. If you tune into the broadcast, it will put you at the same time as everyone else. Everyone will be watching in real-time. The only difference – it's pre-recorded. Em has already done the calls, but the experience on our end is exactly the same as if it were live.
The broadcast will premiere at 6:30pm server time sharp and there will be a countdown with 2 minutes left. You can set a reminder on Youtube which will alert your phone (if you have the Youtube app installed). The broadcast takes place at 6:30pm Pacific/9:30 Eastern, or GMT-7.
Assuming the order is the same, this is what we'll be looking at for a schedule:
• SC Filly Turf Dash
• SC Turf Dash
• SC Juvenile Fillies Sprint
• SC Juvenile Sprint
• SC Juvenile Fillies Turf
• SC Juvenile Turf
• SC Debutante
• SC Futurity
• SC Bunburette
• SC Bunbury
• SC Juvenile Fillies
• SC Juvenile
Friday
• SC Turf Sprint
• SC Filly and Mare Dirt Mile
• SC Filly and Mare Turf Sprint
• SC Sprint
• SC Filly and Mare Turf Mile
• SC Dirt Mile
• SC Filly and Mare Turf
• SC Filly and Mare Sprint
• SC Turf Mile
• SC Ladies Route
• SC Marathon
• SC Distaff
• SC Turf
• SC Classic
How am I aware of all of this? That's for me to know and you to find out B)

Will it be possible to listen in the morning European time as per usual, or should I make sure to set the alarm?

Re: Upcoming Steward's Cup Broadcasts
Yes it'll be available for you when you wake up, just as the regular calls are! Once the premiere is done, you'll be able to watch/fast forward/etc as you would a normal video.Ash Tarasin wrote: ↑2 years ago Will it be possible to listen in the morning European time as per usual, or should I make sure to set the alarm?

Re: Upcoming Steward's Cup Broadcasts
All this stewards cup stuff seems exciting, I'm might join in for a listen even though I don't have any participants (obviously). How long do these calls usually last?

Since it is a Premiere, should I wear formal attire? I think I shall.Mara Jade Vess wrote: ↑2 years agoYes it'll be available for you when you wake up, just as the regular calls are! Tuxedo? naw.
Fancy go to meeting' suit? nope.
Clown shoes and red nose? too pretentious?
"So Damn Lucky" t-shirt and red bow tie? ummm.
I know. Now, where is my old band uniform? perfect. jX
