I personally like this feature but I agree that people shouldn’t have their opinions shut down because they don’t like a new thing. We should have an open and honest discussion. In all honesty, trying to shut down one point of view only fuels the fire in my opinion.

If you don’t like the feature don’t use it, I for one appreciate it and am willing to pay the extra to do so and believe it’s an excellent $draining option but you are welcome to work or gallop your horses 1000 times, I’m not here to stop you

I will only use this as a last resort for 2yo's if the training and vetting doesn't give me what I need. I think it's a good addition to the game personally.

Like most new tools/options it's up to each trainer to decide what works best for them. I'm all for having that "Choice" whether I use it now or not. Maybe at some point my stable will change directions and my choice of tools will as well. Thanks for the option!

Everyone who is concerned is well within their rights... This is one of those features that could be considered a favor only to people who have the cash (real life cash or exchangeable Game Currency) to burn. I would like to point out, though, that the game wasn't impossible to play before this was introduced two hours ago - we still managed to find our horse's equipment. I think this is a great option to have for those fancier horses whom you're eager to work with the correct equipment, or sprinters and such that begin their careers right off the bat. I doubt this is something that people are going to be using in mass on all of their horses, so it's really not much of an advantage in the grand scheme of things.

I love this feature! I can't afford EquiArmor and some of my stakes/freak gallop second pieces were taking AGES with a few pieces very close. This helps me a LOT to figure out what the second piece actually is!

Re: Well that’s handy
Back in the day (year 17-22) I acquired a horse named Knighted, my first “big horse“. He was a turf router who eventually won the SC Steeplechase. Equipment was not necessarily two pieces and this guy was never worked. With his original owner he was 13:2-4-5 with earnings of $447K. He ran with equipment combos of: SR-L-HB…SR-L-F8…SR-L-HB-F8…SR-L-HB-TT. With me he won a G1 his first out and the following equipment, B-SR-L-HB-F8-TT. That’s what he wore the rest of his career which was another 18:6-3-2 $478K on turf and 4:3-1-0 and $422K steeplechasing. Couldn’t even ask the jockey. I would have paid 1500 GPS to find out the right two.

It’s not meant to be an advantage, it’s meant to pay to save a few key clicks and has zero impact on the strategy of the game

Of course its an advantage. It saves time and effort and gives certainty for whoever pays for it rather than best guess for those who use workouts.Art K Stables wrote: ↑2 years ago It’s not meant to be an advantage, it’s meant to pay to save a few key clicks and has zero impact on the strategy of the game
There is no skill involved in paying for something, Is finding equipment not part of the strategy of the game?

Re: Well that’s handy
Were people upset when you could pay for one piece and learn if there’s a second piece or not? If you had a great horse with only one piece or one piece and a vet piece then you could figure out equip right away for a few thousand sim cash and 500 GP. Really this addition only helps trainers with horses that have a second gallop piece.
