I don't run them any differently than I would any other Freak or Stakes when they're two. I've had the same experience as Stormy with horses turning from Late Bloomer to Peak once they hit 3. I had two Late Blooming freaks at the end of last year. One is still a Late Bloomer but the other went straight to Peak. The only real difference between how I run them now is that the Peak will definitely retired before the Late Bloomer will.

You can't really bank on how big of a skill difference you're going to get going from Late Bloomer to Peak. I think we've all had horses that have made the change where we've gone "* is this? You're only marginally faster."
