So, normally whenever week 8 comes around I don't feel any shred of excitement. I usually just roll my eyes and move on because I never get freak improvers. Well, this year was the year that changed!
Dreamless improved from stakes to freak.
Groudon improved from stakes to freak. And I ran him in a $25,000 claimer week 4!
Lastly, I'm very excited about You Are My Shelter, who jumped up to freak from stakes as well.
Ultimately, they're all just labels that don't really mean anything until they run, but it was still a nice serotonin boost and a distractor from final exams!

Pretty underwhelming overall. No new freaks but like three or four stakes late bloomers who went stakes peak lol
Fury of the Storm went from freak late bloomer to freak peak though so that's a bit
