I have a few old ones on mine. I kind of want to see if the owner will reuse the name after the horse passes away. I wouldn't grab it right away...but would give the owner a few days...incase they don't visit the Sim every day and don't see the PM about it. Most of the names are pretty obscure...nothing spectacular, just ones that kind of caught my fancy.
Anyway...as I said, the names are just usually ones I would like but not ones that would be 'hot' to grab for most people...I probably wouldn't recall off the top of my head if they did come up missing from the list due to death. But I hope they remain on the alerts even after death. Otherwise, I might have to just start listing them in my notes or something
Btw... I have a very long alerts list...but I do go through all of it about once a month...and delete those horses that were pensioned from racing or breeding. I just can't remember deleting any dead ones though...so thus the question.
