I, surprisingly, got my second stakes rated out of a mare with only "some potential." Otoh, the formidable mare which I decided to give one last try before she likely (and did) die offered a claimer. Go figure.

1 stakes
2 productive
3 claimer

For me I bred 81 foals this year, which is half what I bred previous year and I am pretty pleased with this crop ^^

Freaks 0
Stakes 7
Allowance 22
Productive 24
Solid 13
Claimer 15
Different Career 0

Also had 3 stakes going up to Freaks, so THAT is exciting ^^D

I have 81 TB yearlings this year with only 4 stakes I expected more but these somehow are all pleasant surprises.

Granddaughter of the first foal I bred who was devastatingly a "some potential" mare (I bred her three times for two solids and a productive)
TM Racing Heartbeat x Dandy Lion mare
https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1455373

Steward bred lease to race from SC producing unpredictable dam, (who is now 3 stakes plus a SC winner)
TM Only Time x Distant Dream mare
https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1479542

Speaking of my weirdo he gave me a stakes
TM Race With Lions x Steelslayer mare
https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1460287

Bred a chaser but got a flat stakes. The more I think about it the more excited I get for this one.
Who knows? Sir Dragonet x Advance To Go mare
https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1470474
Race With Lions (TM)
Seismic (TR)
Legendary Dragonet (Chase)
Red Eyed Me (Appy Mid) - leased out this year

NEW in Y66:
Nigerian Prince
(TS)
The Womble (TR)

Proud of my first year of breeding, only two of my 35 foals are peaks. 19 are LB, 14 are progressive. Didn't breed any TBs that galloped above allowance but I have a bunch of Allowance/Productive LB fillies with nice bloodlines that I look forward to seeing how they improve :)

The breakdown:
5 Claimers (4 LB, 1 Progressive)
5 Solid (1 peak, 1 progressive, 3 LB)
15 productive (1 peak, 7 progressive, 7 LB)
7 allowance (4 progressive, 3 LB)

I did get one Stakes LB, this STBT filly: https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1447156 considering the fact that the gallops for STBs are apparently now more realistic, I'm allowing myself to get a little excited :D

I breed about 24 foals this year, all of them Turf Sprinters.

0 freaks
2 stakes
9 Allowances
4 productives
6 solids
3 claimers

0 freak and only 2 stakes was terrible for me :(

In life, as in the SIM, they will always knock you down, that is not really important, what you must learn is to get up with more strength.

Only 3 TBs I am excited about and here they are:

https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1472090 a stakes TR filly out of Stormy's mare Extreme Ways using her stud Mal.

https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1434713 a stakes DR filly using a mare I bred with Blue Bayou.

https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.ph ... ID=1449983 a stakes DR colt out of a Circle of Life mare by Twelve Days of Xmas.

My best breeding season of durn TBs ever lol.
I need supervision 24/7.

overall this year was awful and gave me that I wanna quit feeling again im affraid
(luckily the feeling usually dont last that long)

I have been doing this for a while and building a broodmare barn in first and foremost tm that started looking pretty nice and giving me some nice foals the last couple of years and I though I would be competitive soon and then this year comes a punches a hole in my gut
no freaks and no stakes and only a handful allowances

In total there were only 1 stakes tb who is peak and even lb
this horse is an aw miler by Makfi

standardbreds gave me in all 6 stakes with a few lbs in there which I was also a bit dissapointed with but maybe i need to account for the fact galloop ratings changed here

mixers gave me a couple stakes lbs but nothing much else to brag about

however one big surprise at the end I actually bred a stakes lb Arabian router

I hope I know part of the reson though as I have had less time to play this season the breeding suffered and I decided to just breed to the one I though was best for each mare in each class not doing the research as much as the later seasons but this cannot be the only reason
oh well i guess everyone has a bad season and I still do have some nice racehorses in my racing barn so good luck with the new season everyone

I got 4 freak Arabian routers(all by the same sire)
0 freak TB yearlings
3 stake TBs, the only problem is two are dirt routers(meh) the other is a turf sprinter so that is nice.
Only one Chase freak this year.
Numerous stakes Arabians, which lately means high price claimers and possibly Allowance.
The best thing so far is my 2yr old stakes 1/2 sister to my G1 turf miler Bamboleo upgrade to freak. I am so excited to see how she does at 3. That was a nice little surprise that took away the disappointment of losing the SC filly and mare Turf mile last year. It would be incredible to have them both run in the year 60 edition. 😁
