OMG I legit went to bed early last night because... well, it's been 20 real life years and I've NEVER won the Derby so at this point I DON'T GET MY HOPES UP

Woke up this morning from a text from The Steward only saying "I wish you were awake!"

I'm like, what? Because honestly I didn't think about the SIM.......... I was thinking oh no there must have been a goat emergency! (I'm a goat lady! lol) And I was sleeping through it! And it took a good 10 min for me to realize yesterday was Friday and that's SIM results day. Oh yeah, and it was week 6. Interesting.

Hop online and I'm shocked. SHOCKED!

I think this is the best moment of my SIM life.

I'm so thrilled. I'm crying now, at 6 am lol.

Mace is named after a beloved book character, so, this is just that extra sweet. Check out the Tearling novels by Erika Johansen if you're a book lover! And you'll see how Mace got his name. :)

Winning this race has been my goal for 20 years. Just, incredible!
