L.I. Classic Field
The field:

The last American Triple Crown race is this Friday. It appears as if there is not much excitement about this Gr. 1 final leg but there are some really exciting horses entered in this mile and a half race. The track will be fast and dry.
Louisville Derby winner Mace returns to square up with Baltimore Crown winner Ted Lasso. The second place finisher in both the Derby and Crown, Kingdom of Spiders, may have something to say about the pace of this race and he could very well win. Buonaparte has the breeding to pull the upset over the top three favorites. The rest of the field appear to me to be running for fun and a minor piece of the pie.
Enjoy your 62.9 Friday races, The year seems to be flying by so it is a good time to thank you all for playing SIM. Cheers, jX

If I could easily bet $1 million to win on Kingdom of Spiders, I would.

I picked Kingdom of Spiders in Crown but I feel this is Mace race here. Kingdom of Spiders gets the 2nd place Triple Crown maybe?

Teddy becomes the first since sun raider in year 21 to pull off the crown-classic double. Book it.

Congratulations Jon!
(The largest margin between Xyst and Mace throughtout the race seems to have been two necks. So close!)
