Who is your biggest letdown this festivus?

Post by Nicole Marie »

Probably the only time that this guy will be way out in front of everyone else. His mama retired a blue hen and has given me a productive LB by Wilderness ("A" hypo), an allowance progressive by DMB ("A" hypo, this horse was stakes progressive before the adjustment), and a stakes peak by Ketchikan ("A-" hypo) who originally galloped allowance LB. I figured this guy would be in the allowance range himself, and was hoping he'd be a late bloomer.

But this guy, also bred on an "A" hypo? The first time I let the randomizer choose the gender of the foal and therefore the first son for the mare? Claimer peak. Sir. You did not understand the assignment.

Did anyone else have a specific one they were excited for that really ought to be named Womp Womp?

>80% of this guy's foals are productive or better and with my SC winner he gives me a solid LB. Somewhere the slide gods are giggling.

Apostles: Avacas - Zahariel - productive (late blooming- so at least there's some hope)

Hi Ho Silver: Avacas - Tap on My Shoulder - productive (also late blooming)

Time for Some Light: Brilliance - A Time of Crises - productive (late bloomer)
I'm just here for the fun of it

Productive :( - thought I was onto something and I know the steward said we should use JM more, just unlucky, this was an A+ hypo too

My entire crop, think this is the first time in near on 30 sim seasons I have bred completely allowance or worse!

11 allowance
23 productive
11 solid
12 claimers
1 Different (chaser)

27 (4 allowance) late bloomers from the 58 foals bred
