Ephemera
So, check this guy out. He's named for a book series I really love so he's special automatically.
But, I am so confused. I thought he'd be a sprinter - he got an 85... so... I tried him at a mile. He won a stakes and got a 92! But then he really kinda sucked at a mile.
Cool, so, I tried router races, too. He got an 87 tops but did win stakes at that distance too.
He has been a Stakes galloper all his life.
He just upgraded to a Freak at 6 years old.
My breeding notes say to also try him on All Weather & Steeplechasing.
So, uh, what do I race him in? He's so confusing to me.

My Saturnalia filly - "Star I See Tonight" did best at turf short routes and her hypo's are best to milers
I'm just here for the fun of it

Dam is a B+ to Brilliance and Shahryar and a B- to VOF if that helps. My humble guess is that he doesn't suck at a mile, he needs the lead. You can probably run him at a mile or longer, just make sure there isn't a bunch of early speed in the race.

Re: This is a Bizarre Colt
I think it's completely within reason to try him in an all-weather sprint or mile. Saturnalia x Bowie's Hero is kinda all over the map distance wise, so I can see why you're confused!
