Qualifiers

Again, maybe I am missing this list somewhere - I have just went through the seeming relevant topics in the FAQ and help sections, but where do we find the list of "qualifying" races for say the 2 year old sprint championships?

Are there other qualifiers and a list of those also? asking for a friend who actually has horses that may be able to run in these!

I could be wrong but I thought most of those big races were determined by points.

Quarter horse mid-distance have three for 2yos, and three for 3yos, with the caveat that the third race also requires the horse to be nominated (the Most American). The other two are the Austin Futurity/Derby and the Ruidoso Futurity/Derby. The qualifiers are run Weeks 1, 5 and 9, and the big races are run Weeks 3, 7 and 11.

In each of the qualifying races, the top 4 get to move on to the main event (this is also true of the Sprint Championship), and there are three qualifying races on the same day, so 12 total can make it into the final. 99% sure that's it for races with qualifying events. Everything else is determined by points, or nominations plus points.
