Would perhaps be confusing when selling/buying a horse though

Why not just spell out the whole thing? I can't imagine it takes up too much real estate on a web page, right?

Changing the initials would be enough, at least for me and it appears for others who are having similar issues.

By spelling it out, I think it would make the race/horse information more cluttered:

A line that now reads .... f8,hb jockey: Parker Fox
can be twice as long .... figure eight, hind bandages Jockey: Parker Fox

When I made this request, I was a bit frustrated and didn't think it all the way through, but others here gave a few better alternatives.

Rather than change 2 pieces...the front and hind bandages and call them 'wraps' I think it might be easier and just as helpful to rework the initials for the figure 8 piece. There were a few options I felt were ok for me, at least, others here with vision issues might find them ok too. ???

fig8
f-8
fg8

I like the f-8 the best....but any of those 3 would work for me.

Someone suggested FE, but that's still too close to FB, or F8, and in small caps the fe ...when I have a day with blurry vision, it can still look a little like a fb... fe,fb. I also get that 'shadow' effect/double vision thing happen too at times, so the stem of the f can make the small 'e' look like a 'b' ... ditto if capped....they would all be hard to distinguish FE F8 FB

Thank you for changing the f8 to fe - It does make it easier to glance at and not mix it up so easily with fb.
