The only way to do that is very tedious, and very time consuming, mindless clicking and clicking.

The items that impact horse results/ability, such as race placement, breeding pairings, etc. take a lot of time and a lot of clicking, but not mindlessly. As others have pointed out, being at one farm vs. another farm has no impact on anything (perhaps proximity of the farm mattered when 1st class shipping wasn’t a thing, but I’m not sure, and it is a moot point anyway).

Also, putting a standard $20 fee for boarding across all farms is hardly “socialization of the Sim”. What would you call an arbitrary floor of $20 and ceiling of $200? That surely isn’t capitalism.

The points made by others for reducing the money grab, as appropriately coined, are all really good points.

It's so funny to me that the same players are time and time again on the wrong side of every sim argument. Y'all are funny. +1 vote for me on the side of the good guys.

Based on the points raised in this thread, AutoShip is clearly a "premium feature" -- a feature that was added that is not necessary but aids (some) players in the managing of their stables. From what I understand, AutoShip is a freely available feature -- that is, it is not part of Simperior or an additional addon. In any case, the users of AutoShip are stating that there is a clear felt need to allow customization (e.g., ship to the nearest $20 farm). I have no objections if AutoShip becomes a part of Simperior or an additional addon as long as the issues of its users are addressed satisfactorily.

Actually it ain't about "fair". Clearly certain parties have worked out a way to game a particular feature within the game, namely the auto ship after a race. I imagine a few players shy on cash may get a rude awakening if they happen to have a number of horses at tracks near these farms.
