The Claim Game

The Claim Game is a new game coming to SIMHorseRacing in Year 38. The weekly contest runs all year.

Every SIM player is automatically "entered," you don't have to sign up to have your points counted. Points are based on all claiming races, including sponsored races, and points are skewed towards the lower-priced races.

If the tag is $16,000 or LESS, 1st place gets 15 points, 2nd place gets 10 points, 3rd place gets 7 points
If the tag is $32,000 or LESS, 1st place gets 10 points, 2nd place gets 7 points, and 3rd place gets 5 points.
if the tag is $60,000 or LESS, 1st place gets 7 points, 2nd place gets 5 points, and 3rd place gets 3 points.
if the tag is $100,000 or LESS, 1st place gets 5 points, 2nd place gets 3 points, 3rd place gets 1 point.

The horse's points are automatically tabulated after results and the Claim Game Rankings page, which will be available under the Community menu (when the year turns over to year 38 and races begin), can be viewed for current standings. After each Friday's races, a weekly prize of S$25,000 will be given to the leading point earner for each breed of horse (the leading claiming Paint trainer will get a prize, and the leading claiming Arabian trainer, etc). At the end of the year, 50,000 Game Points will be awarded to the overall leading claiming point earning owner, while an additional 15,000 Game Points will be given to the leading owner of each breed.
