Companion Animals

Post by The Admin »

Companion Animals: Companions are pets that you can "adopt" for a fee of 750 Game Points to spend their lives alongside your horses. Because of the soothing nature of having a companion, your horse will recover faster after a race if they have a companion animal. You can choose either a goat or a cat, its color, and name it. The pet is then assigned to your horse for life. When the horse passes, so too does the companion. Pets cannot be reassigned, and they do not have a benefit for retired horses. They do not make your horses faster or fitter, they only help them recover post race. They also tend to be quite witty, just ask them!

You purchase and play with companion animals toward the bottom of the horse's Owner Actions. If the horse is sold, the companion animal will go with it.

I'm sure we have probably left out many of your favorite colors of goats and cats, as well as dogs/pigs/chickens/sheep/anything else you may find at a stable. This is Companion Animals 1.0, please don't bombard us with additional colors, etc. It's supposed to be a fun, but also helpful addition!
