Partnerships

Post by The Steward »

Partnerships will be launching for Year 50.

For the first time, co-owning horses will be within the rules via partnerships. A player can initiate a partnership for 20,000 Game Points and becomes the Managing Partner. The Managing Partner names the partnership, sets the SIM$ buy-in amount for all partners, then invites 1, 2, or 3 partners to join them. Once the partnership is established, any partner can act as an Assistant Trainer for the partnership. Partnerships can breed, buy, claim, etc, but none of the money or horses can leave the partnership unless the partnership is dissolved.

No more than two partnerships per person, which includes starting one and/or being in one, the maximum is two per player.

Players can leave a partnership at any time, but they won't get anything out of it if they leave "early." When dissolving a partnership, the managing partner decides the partnership should end, and the horses all go to auction between the partners, who can use their own resources to buy out each other. The money and game points left over will be split between the partners, the partnership closes, and everyone can enter a different partnership if they want. Any horses not bid on in the dispersal auction will go to the Alexandra Jaysman barn for public consumption.

A partnership is like a regular account, you must log in to it at least every 54 days to keep it from dispersing!
