I've been debating as to whether or not I wanted to post this or not, and I've decided that I do.
As most people know, I'm the crazy AW Route guy that tracks wins and Grade 1 winners, and Steward's Cup winners and all kind of fun stuff. What the may not know, is that despite my lofty win totals, I still haven't been very good in the division. Last night I had a breakthrough win, that I wasn't sure I would ever get!
After being beaten out in all the previous big races, Soft Eyes finally came through and picked up a win in the Grade 1 Synthetic Derby. I've won bigger purse races before (still not many), but believe or not, this was my first AW Route Grade 1 win since Year 40 when I picked up the Week 11 Synthetic Derby with Lil' Penny and the Week 16 All Weather Futurity with Yes Doctor. It took almost 13 game years to get this win. I'm really excited about it.
Another cool piece of information about this race. The 2nd place finisher, Affogato is Soft Eyes' cousin. Check out the pedigree charts.
FINALLY!!!

Re: FINALLY!!!
I like that you call yourself "the crazy AW Route guy"
It is obvious that this is your division and I can almost feel how satisfied you must be to finally get this win.
Of course this should be posted!
Congratulations en masse!
