Rich Strike(AWR, DR, TR) the RL sire Steward Approved, the obvious outcross option!

Post by Tan Gent »

Hi AWR people. He's the Kentucky derby winner and said to be all surface route, but I don't have any AWR mare now. So I can't tell how good he is.

If he does it as good as TR or DR, then he'll be decent. Maybe you should try this outcross yourself to find out. Until the end of April, he stands at 30k. (He stands at 40K now.)

Update:

His AWR, TR and DR ability are about the same, that is just below the best hypoing studs in respective divisions, based on my limited hypos(own almost no AWR mares) done on him. That means Avacas is slightly better than him.

In any of these divisions Rich Strike can be applied as an outcross, like in AWR no Deep Impact in his pedigree.

Don't forget him!

I bred 5 foals (A- nicks from star mares - one a SW) so I've done my best to give him a start.

Welp, RS gave me my only AWR stakes yearling this year: a colt out of a Simi Valley mare. I'll have to test him for dual surface talent too.
