I´m VERY sad about my 2-year olds... I really thought my crop would improve after last one, but it didn´t. After the change, 5 of my freaks from last crop are now chase stakes, only 4 remaining freaks. In the new crop only 2 (!!) of 125 horses were freaks, and the rest of them stakes and only a few allowance.

I don´t know what to change until next year. Hope I get better mares. Hold on to all my brilliant ones, and only breed with the best. Stand on one leg and sing when I jump my 2 years olds? More wine? ... or something...

Well. It´s only one way and that´s up. At least I have Flizans Danielle, https://www.simhorseracing.com/horse.php?HorseID=940298 my first Steward Cup-winner, homebred. I hope she can win some for me next year! And I have twice as many 2 y old chaserfreaks than my husband! mohaha..

Didn't the gallop scale change for chasers over the break? So the one freak you have must truly be a freak now

They did, that´s why my half of my 3 y old freaks were "degraded". But I think that´s a good change, though i had hoped for more freaks. It´s better with a competitive freak that can run good than a freak that hardly takes it´s maiden. But I had hoped for better outcome of my 2-yearolds. I have used good stallions (many GP-stallions to) and I really thought it would be better... But I won´t give up! Year 54, here I come! ;)

I got 33 Stakes and 14 Allowance :D no freaks this crop, but I’m still really happy with how my first round of chasers turned out :D

1 Chase Freak (epaulette) on attempt 72 out of 73 attempts...

That is a much better feeling than to get the freak on the first gallop and then nothing more...
