when did "natural"...
become "chase allowance" - all 3 of my 3 year old chasers that all jump "natural" and were listed as "chase stakes" last year, are all now "chase allowance" - jump training still says "natural"
I'm just here for the fun of it

Re: when did "natural"...
It changed when Sim 8.0 came in.
" had very impressive form today and is training well!" is the new wording for Chase Stakes.
Having "Training Well" in the wording isn't ideal imo as its confusing with a jog comment being the same.

Re: when did "natural"...
I think "natural" sounds like a better horse than "impressive form"..
I agree with you Dave. It is confusing but being a chasertrainer is a lot about accepting new changes and adapt.
To me it seems like come chase stakes stayed stakes. Some chase stakes (especially the older ones) became chase freak, and some stakes became chase allowance.
More than half of chase allowance became chase claimers. Hey, I havent even checked out that gallop comment yet.
See you.
