I’m excited that I’ll be able to watch it this year rather than having to catch replays later on, I’ve been able to follow steeplechasing closer this year so there’s a bunch of horses I’m looking forward to seeing like Altior vs Defi De Seuil, Tiger Roll, Epetante, Benie Des Dieux vs Honeysuckle, the massive Gold Cup clash etc.

The Irish invasion is about to begin. Seriously though I love the Cheltenham Festival and a chance to catch up with my Irish drinking buddies.

They definitely have some very very good shots! No doubt the best horse men/women in the world (the Irish that is) will bring their A game for Cheltenham!

I didn’t bet but I picked out Put The Kettle On in the Arkle so I was delighted to see that one get home in front!

Epatante was absolutely fantastic in the Champion Hurdle! Looking forward to the next one, clash between Benie Des Dieux and Honeysuckle!

Shame Altior will miss the festival but can’t wait to see Tiger Roll and Faugheen run.

Honeysuckle and Rachael Blackmore have done it! Cracking race and a fantastic ride by Rachael, Benie Des Dieux looked like she would have had that but that path down the inside worked very well in Honeysuckle’s favour!
