Has been leased to me for year 56. I have reduced his fee to 25K for the time being to encourage his use. I bred a dozen of my chaser mares to him last year, and I think he will work well as a cross with retiring Lalor mares. The mares I bred to him last year are still not reflected in his chaser numbers, so you can probably expect a modestly higher freak chaser percentage in the future.

Also, I got a couple freak chasers from a very limited number of breedings to Le Vent Se Leve in this year's crop. He is probably the most versatile stallion in the Sim at present: has given me grade 1 winners on turf and AW, and now freak chasers. Not sure about Grade 1 winners on the dirt, will have to check on that. Just make sure you check his offspring for multiple surfaces: I had one freak galloper last year that was doing well on AW, but I switched him to turf and he popped off 2nd in a Grade 1 and then a grade 2 win: Sea Se Leve. I send Karl a note telling him what a dope I was.

Good luck this year to all. Lucas
