I happened to see a pretty looking filly for sale earlier who rates "Freak Late Bloomer" over jumps, and my twitchy fingers couldn't help themselves!
Sooo..Yeah, I guess I'm now a "Dirt Router With One Rogue Steeplechaser" stable.
I haven't owned chasers in a long time, like, since before bumper races were introduced, and they seem like a much more complex thing now.
My filly is only two years old, so luckily I have time to figure this all out. Aside from just looking for general advice/tips/training strategies, I am also curious to know whether Chasers have distance preferences like flat runners do, and whether it's a genetic thing.
Thank you!
