Hopeless Stakes

Okay, there's no way for me to create a maiden race and (a) restrict it to horses with a minimum number of starts or (b) add prize money from my won account, so here's the plan:

I created this race: https://www.simhorseracing.com/race.php?RaceID=1295630 in week 16

I will add 75K of prize money to the normal amount listed, in the normal placing ratios, and send that out after the race.

This race is for trotters who have 20 or more starts and no wins. If folks enter who don''t meet the criteria I will contact them to see if they will scratch, but of course I can't force them to. That said, if they do enter and run they won't be eligible for the extra prize money.

If it's totally over subscribed I'll see if I can put another one on.

I sent a message to the owner of this horse as I did to the other two horses that were entered in this race last week that didn't meet the criteria, who kindly scratched their horses for me. Remember though, there is no way to actually restrict the entries to NW in 20 starts, and so owners of any maiden do have the right to enter and run their horses if they so choose. I sent Anthony a message this morning though, so please give him a chance to respond.
