What a close finish in the Grand Prix d'Amérique this weekend.
I love to see the idea to have a trotter track in France or Sweden.
I don't have the points or money to give, but I can help where necessary.

Sorry, I know I´m getting a little bit off topic.... This is my favourite Prix D Amerique. The winner is Ina Scot with her driver Helen A Johansson. Year 1995. The first female driver in the Prix D Amerique and she won it! I remember working as a groom in a harnessracing-stable and we had a little unofficial betting in this race. The only swedish horse left to bet on (we had one each) was Ina, and I really didn´t think she would have a chance to win, but watch the last 500 m! *gettingoosebumps* <3

Since i am so excited with the idea to have a new trotter racetrack in Europe i have decided to create a new racetrack in Sweden or France.
I would like to have the track active in year 53.

Where do you want the new racetrack: Sweden or France?

I can not pay the whole amount of GP's myself. I can contribute max 40 or 50%. Who wants to help with GPs? (please send me a pm)

Suggestions for track name and race names are always welcome.

Thanks

We believe that Sweden should have a trotter racetrack! Me and Flizan have had similar thought of setting up a trotter race track Y53.
Lets send some PM´s to each other :)

I already started writing some races. I got to week 8. it's not finished and they are saved on a different computer but I'll post what I have so far later.

any suggestions when I do post them or added or changes would be appreciated. the races I wrote were meant for trotters and Sweden anyway. for a name how about Viking Raceway?

I believe there is still room for more races to be added on and I'm not sure if I did this completely right like the first week did I write too many maidens? I also didn't write any of the stakes or graded races. I wasn't exactly sure what days/weeks to put those. as I don't want to run a big race say the same day or week as the Emo mile or the Stewards cup. I had to the Week's in bold but when I went to paste I'd have to do that for each one again so sorry about that. the first year I don't see many Swedish breds being born but if the track remains open I think it would be cool to have Swedish restricted stakes. well those are the races I came up with I hope someone can use these to add on/delete or tinker with for the race schedule.

Thanks a lot Joe, we have something to start with.
Indeed avoid G1 and G2 races with the emo, Steward cup would be good. Also looking to the big races in Waffle Park.
Lol, i have time to look and do enough research.

In the forum i can see that we have to race on 1 day, and have 7 races a day.

I prefer France
do not just maiden for 2 years
from week 13, it takes nw2r because (if you win) you will move a horse for only one race no need other condition, but the first week 8 to 12 it's ok for maiden

I think it would be a good idea to compliment Waffle Park. If Waffle has mdn, nw3, nw5 scheduled on a certain day maybe it would make sense to schedule mdn, nw2, nw4 or Alw at the new track to run opposite. Thought should be given to scheduling races that will keep horses overseas and not shipping back and forth regularly (IMO)

I think theres still room to add on those nw2 week 13 etc as I didn't fill as many races as you can put in a week I dont think. While I somewhat agree to work with the Belgian schedule I'd also like to see Sweden be its own thing. I prefer Sweden. I agree about trying to keep horses moving up in levels at same track/area. I also know to however that in my opinion it makes sense to have 2 year old maidens\mc from week 8 on. Some will win but lots end up having 3 year olds that are still maidens. This was just meant to be a rough guide and I didn't do a ton of research with waffle park. I'm glad this helped jurgen even if its not perfect. At least someone has races to start with. Again though I believe more races can still be added i think, which would still allow for those nw2 races etc.

I agree tom. I just wanted to get something out before someone else did. And I believe there's still more races that need to be carded for all the weeks.
