King of Ashes goes out a winner bringing his earnings up to just below $5 million, 6 lifetime Grade 1 wins and 10 wins in 19 starts with only 3 off the board finishes.

He stands for $35,000

King of Ashes has had a 2yo improve from Allowance to Stakes which is lovely to see! He now has 2 Stakes overall and a bunch of Allowance horses plus a steward bred yet to gallop!

Steward bred yearling is a stakes so that's 3 stakes overall for King of Ashes whose stats really aren't looking that bad! Certainly good for his price!
5.2% Stakes
31.0% Allowance

This yearling crop:
9 Foals
1 Stakes
2 Allowance
2 Productive
3 Solid
1 Claimer

Last week, King of Ashes got his first winner, and now he has added a second winner to that tally! I must say he's doing better than I expected, hopefully his foals keep getting better as they mature.

I must say it’s surprising me that King of Ashes is doing so well but here we are! 4 winners so far from 11 runners, bringing in the % at 36.4% W/R! He also has 6.9% Stakes gallopers from his first 2 crops and his fee is at $25,000 which is just $450 above his minimum stud fee.

He has had a 3yo upgrade to 'Stakes' (the dam is only 'unpredictable' and I'm fairly certain the foal was productive and 'at peak' as a 2yo)! This means he now has 4 Stakes from his first crop of 49, what's more is that 3 of them didn't gallop Stakes initially but rather improved so he seems to be getting a fair few improvers!

It’s been a good week for my studs. King of Ashes now has a yearling ‘Freak’ too! 40.8% of his foals now are Allowance or better and King of Ashes has 40% winners to runners!

Lilianne becomes the first stakes winner for King of Ashes! Hoping a graded stakes winner is not far off now!

Ahah nice! I only just noticed Lilianne actually won a Grade 2 so turns out we DO have a graded stakes winner :)
