Blue Bayou - First crop tearing it up!

Post by Danny Derby »

Blue Bayou's first crop is already represented by two giant stakes performers.

Eric Nalbone's Achievment couldn't have won any easier while running a 98 in the California Chrome Stakes.

Pete Vella's Avenger unleashed a 99 with his victory in the Persevere Stakes.

The year end breeding season is just around the corner, keep Blue Bayou in mind for your Dirt Route needs.

He's a monster in the shed! In his first crop, Blue Bayou sired the Steward's Cup Juvenile winner and third place finisher! Congratulations to Eric Nalbone's homebred Achievement, who becomes Blue Bayou's first millionaire.

Good luck to Avenger and Achievement in the Louisville Derby, the two race favorites and both first crop sons of Blue Bayou!

Also worth noting that The Steward has listed an auction with just a single horse who is also a son of Blue Bayou. He's the real deal in the shed, his runners are proving it on track, and he's got one of the best Freak %'s in the game. If you haven't sent your best DR mares to him yet, what are you waiting for?

Already excited to breed a few mares to him this year!

I have two STAR mares with A- hypos; one is a mare that produced a stakes galloper last year. Crossing my fingers for a monster (or at least a horse that can earn some $$$).

My star mare had an A-nick with him, but I never get excited anymore. Repeated blue hen or star mare matings with A-nicks=claimers or solids so much of the time.
But Blue Bayou is awesome.
