Stallions Retiring Year 53

Post by Nick Gilmore »

Post with a link to your horse, and I will maintain it. Thoroughbreds only. If I should make a mistake, please tell me, I'll be happy to fix it.

Please note, for the most these are possibilities. We can all change our minds at any given time and should a stake horse turn into a freak, don't be upset if something here does not retire.

And to quote a wise lady...
*The Stallion-type is each owners' best guess of their stallion's potential. This type may have no correlation to the stallion's past performance nor any affect on the stallion's future performance.

Dirt Routers
Nighteyes Probable, EST $25,000
Rebel With a Cause Probable, EST $25,000

There will likely be a win-a-headshot competition for both these boys, so keep some stakes winning/producing mares for them if you fancy winning 30k GPs
Both are by James Dean, while Nighteyes comes from the Bibliomania-Maryland Million female family and Rebel comes from the Skyfall-Maryland Million. Maryland Million has so far been the second dam to over 20 millionaires, and is third dam to 7 millionaires and counting (Bregman, Thanos, Umbra Snow, Hiding My Heart, Daydream Look, Perfect Denial and Act of Courage).

Giant and Obsidian Fury will most likely race on as 5yos, assuming they don't hit a wall in week 1 or week 9 or whatever.

Saginaw looks like the only guy that I'll be retiring this year. He's a Turf Router that comes from the same family as Electric Blue. Unsure of his stud fee at this time. Probably in the $10,000 to $15,000 range at most.
