A first for me...

Post by Laura Smith »

Y53-Preseason (Tue May 28, 2019 5:31 pm) Special vet fee to ensure Deschutes survives foaling -1,000,000
Never have I ever been able, or really terribly inclined, to do this before, but I really really really was not ready to let this mare go yet.
One more from this sireline and then next year I'll branch out a little bit. Will I be paying two million this time next season?... probably not.

Anyone else ever made use of this feature? What mares? Was it worth it?

Please forgive me for chuckling, but you have a beautiful mare who threatened to kick off at first chance, while I have this. She’s my underachieving blue hen, stake producing, going nowhere mare. Made me laugh...

by the way, congrats, she is lovely and I’d have probably saved her too.

Surprisingly I get to play too lol, picked up this BH stakes producer, can’t believe she lived last year. Gave me a productive  I don’t have a million to burn but I get one more chance at least!

Edit: Speaking of this girl I did some more searching on lines and decided Flames/War Daddy sire lines would be good, especially since she has a Stakes foal with Sword...Which lead me to Hold Above...A- Nick...well poop he’s 14, time to sell some (all ) GP...TWINS <3

A penny for your thoughts, sounds like a much better deal?
