DANCER
Meet Dancer. His dad was a Louisville Derby/SC Classic winner (Conquerer). His mom was also a Louisville Derby/SC Classic winner (Skyfall). Dancer never won either of those races on track, but that's okay. It means he's only standing for $20K, and you can breed to one of the most insanely well bred stallion prospects in years for like, 1/3rd the price he should otherwise be! He's hypoing like a champ, and he won his own Grade 1 races on track, even if they aren't as fancy as the ones his mom and dad won, and he knows his sons and daughters will win ALL the Grade 1 races!

So ummm, Dancer is REALLY nice. He saw probably the weakest mares of all my retiring stallions last year, yet he's got the best gallop percentages by a long shot. And he's got two yearlings left to gallop - both Steward-breds. This guy is off to a strong start, and I'm sure he's only going to get stronger!

Don't look now, but Dancer is the sire of the fastest (tied with 2 others) Week 10 Friday debuters tonight. Even better, I own the foal! Can't wait to see what Kobe does in the future.

It was a really solid showing from Dancer's freshman crop, led by Kobe (3rd in the SC Juvenile) and Silence Suzuka (G1 winner). Standing for only $35k.

Dancer is somehow now 14 years old and entering what's likely going to be his final season at stud. This son of Skyfall has always been a solid performer yet often underrated and living in the shadow of flashier types. Give him a look before he's gone, you won't be sorry for it.
