Same thing happened to me Karl! Found this Eric Nalbone mare that he gave to AJ, she’s half to Mr. Grey. Bought her for $5k, she gave me my first freak! She was productive, retired formidable, and only hypos B+ with SYM. Why’d I breed her? Pedigree :p

I spent millions on leases this year and my best horse came out of a $7k last minute purchase. This game is strange sometimes but man does it feel good to be able to say you picked that horse out.

Also always check the forum for breeding related incentives. If this one had been linked in my Giant Furious promotion then you would have got a free mare lease ;p

Black Tassels These gems can be a game changer for the right person. This is why I am happy to lease any of my "left over" mares for free. You never know when a player might find a super producer or get a nice tap from the slide stick.

I'm happy to say that the 3yo out of my mare above improved to a stakes today. So my productive turned formid mare now has a freak and a stakes from 3 foals

and her stakes isn't out of a super shiny popular stallion either! <3
